February, 2010: VIVA engages the public with “LOVE33”

Manama, Bahrain: VIVA, the new telecom company in Bahrain, which is still offering the public the opportunity to book their unique numbers that begin with 33 until the services. The number booking campaign which turned into the largest number booking operation in Bahrain’s history as it drove tens of thousands of people to book their unique numbers in the past few days filling up stands in all of its 14 locations around Bahrain. The band, formed of 11 of the most talented graduates of the London Music Institute, which is a true institution in the world of music to bring their unique style of hip hop and dance music as well as a dancing crew to support the music.

The band will perform in Bahrain City Centre on the 17th and 18th of Feb and then will make an appearance in Seef Mall’s western expansion on the 19th and 20th of Feb. All performances will commence at 5pm and will go on until 10pm.

This campaign is also accompanied by daily interactive programs that have already been catching massive popularity. These interactive programs take place on daily basis in both Seef Mall and Bahrain City Centre, with several acts on display including the amazing rolling roulettes, the astounding illusionist, an awesome photo studio to capture the moment as well as the creatively speedy cartoonist amongst other varied acts.

January, 2010: VIVA, the new telecom company in Bahrain

January, 2010: VIVA Recruits Hundreds of Bahrainis

Manama, Bahrain: VIVA, the third mobile operator in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is preparing to launch its services soon has recruited hundreds of Bahrainis in various sectors of the company.

Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Al Omar, Head of the VIVA Project in Bahrain, stressed that one of the top priorities VIVA sets its eyes on investing in Bahrain’s human capital and through the recruitment of young local talents to refine their skills through high-level training programs in the areas of technical, sales and marketing fields.
